I think I might be pregnant I'm 16 years old my last period was suppose to start on the 10th of January, but didn't until the 15th I am on birth control but I was away from home for about 3 days and I missed those active pills... well now its been a month and my period still hasn't come I'm still on birth control I am on the placebo now... I have been having really bad abdominal pain, feeling like I have to throw up I think I already have the linea negra and I have been very emotional... I also had light spotting last week... so I'm just wondering what my chances of me being pregnant and when do you think I ovulated ? How many weeks am I if I am pregnant

That linea nigra shows up towards the end of your first trimester. It isn't your pregnancy dipstick. The only symptom you can count on is a lack of a period.

You missed three pills, when you had sex afterwards did you use a barrier contraceptive, i.e. a condom? It is impossible to know when, or if, you ovulated. It is also hard to say what is hormonally going on in your body. There is a chance that you're pregnant, it is best to wait two weeks from the date where you should have started your period and do a home pregnancy test. I don't think you're too late at this point. Your period could be delayed because of stress or a number of other reasons. It could be the dip in the contraceptive hormone that is causing your wonky period.

By my count, you have to test around the first of March if you miss your period on or around the 10, or 15th of February. You could be pregnant, since there is no 100% reliable birth control.

Could you be pregnant, of course. The signs you are talking about sound more like a period coming than pregnancy, Since they would not normally start this early.



There is nothing to do now but wait, you will have to be 14 days late, before you can test. Test with first urine of the morning as soon as you wake up

If your period didn't start until the 15th of January then it isn't late yet. With that said, your cycle and your pill cycle are obviously not synched up. How long have you been taking the pill? When you missed the three days that altered the hormones with in your body so that can throw it off a bit too. One day of missing it doesn't matter as much you can actually double up the next day. The same thing doesn't apply after missing three days. So, at this point wait until the 15th. If you still haven't started, try to not think about it. Stressing out will only make it worse if you are or aren't pregnant. If a couple more days go by and you still haven't started then pick up a home test. They range greatly in price. I wouldn't wait until March to take it if you haven't started though just in case. I would do in the morning of the 18th or 19th. That way you can schedule a prenatal appointment that much sooner if positive. I have taken my share over the years and have found them to be accurate that quickly.
