I'm currently 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant and there was moderate free fluid in my pelvis cul de sac I want to know if that could cause a problem with my baby it's my second pregnancy my first one ended in a miscarriage? The ultrasound also says irregular gestational sac and I have dark brown spotting but it's very little and I have no pains whatsoever should I be worried? At 6 weeks 2 days they couldn't get a heartbeat is that normal?

You really should be asking your OB/GYN these questions... you are going to one?

Fetal heartbeats can usually be detected 25 days after conception or roughly 6 weeks along. It's not highly alarming that it wasn't detected but as smoothy said, you should really be directing these questions towards your OB/GYN.

Free fluid in the pelvic cul-de-sac is a frequent normal finding in women, but is also associated with both ruptured and unruptured ectopic pregnancies. Please speak to your OB.
