When running multiple circuits through a piece of conduit, can you share the neutral?
When running multiple single pole circuits through a common piece of 1/2" conduit, can you share a common neutral?

Yes. No different than running 3-wire cables.
Remember, most circuits in a home now require AFCI protection, and 2-pole AFCI breakers are extremely hard to find, especially locally, so multi-wire circuits (shared neutral) are a no-go.
