Operate a 12 volt DC bell using a 110 volt ac
I want operate a 12 volt DC bell from a 110 volt A C source. I know that I'll have to through a 110 vot A C relay coil to get the voltage through to feed the bell with 12 Volt DC. My problem is that when I go on the internet they keep showing a moition detection to turn on the lights. I tried that but it won't pull the relay.I called the manufactor and they said it will not do what I want. So do you know of a suite that sells a moition dector that will pull in the relay coil?
I thank you for any and all info you can give.

Goodwill has loads of phone chargers and computer voltage suppliers that go from 120VAC to 12VDC, many run 1Amp or more. Last time I was there I got a 1200 milliamp DC for $1.50. It was running 13.2 VDC.

Step down converters are also available from Radio Shack.

I have several phone chargers sitting in a box in my closet. If interested shoot me a private message and I'll see if I can find one that meets your needs. I need the input voltgge (120 vac) Output voltage needed (12 vdc?) and the needed output amperage
