Kidney failure post miscarriage extreme blood loss?
This is concerning a normal healthy female patient aged 30, who was 7 months pregnant. Last week, she suddenly started losing blood and was rushed to the hospital at 1 am. The hospital authorities waited for the doctor who finally attended to her around 9:30 am.

A surgery followed which removed the dead baby but her blood loss continued. Her hemoglobin count fell to a critical 4 by the evening. Further on, she didn't pass any urine and doctors detected that she had kidney failure. She has had 2 sessions of dialysis but there is still no improvement in her condition.

I am extremely concerned about her state, so please advice. thank you.

We have no idea of her condition becaise with have no affiliation with any medical facility anywhere in the world. We are purely a question and answer site.

Only her doctors could answer that question... if you have access to her medical stats... then you whould be able to talk with them.

Dialysis is not a cure for kidney failure. It is to only replace temporarily what her kidneys cannot do any longer, filter her blood.
