Temperature Sensor on Dehumidifier Faulty - Yes/No?
    Hi
Quick bit of advice on a AMCOR dehumidifier (Model:HD320H), but probably relates to any compressor based dehumidifier.

The unit is functioning (fan, controls, etc), but the compressor has stopped operating and therefore doesn't cool the coils.

However if I unplug the temperature sensor probe (situated on the air intake side of the cooling coils) from the PCB (white 2-pin plug) the compressor starts up and the coils are soon 'frosted' up! The compressor stops and starts OK when adjusting the humidistat.

Can I assume the probe is faulty and replace? (how do I test it?)

Or is it the PCB faulty as I can purchase a replacement for either, but want to be sure which one?

Many thanks in advance for any advice.
    Regards, Mark
