There was a movie I watched in 1986 or 87 that I can't for life of me remember who was the star or the name of the movie.all I remember are certain parts of the movie.the last part I remember was the main caracter walking across a brigde/border crossing to reunite with his wife and son/daughter.after going the all kinds of hell to get there. The part at the end from what I remember shows him walking towards his wife and child on a bridge.I want to say it might have been the dad from firestater. I'm not sure.I was only 6 or 7 ,but I have always remembered watching it.I also want to say at one point he was tied up in a chair in a house and escaped to continue on trying to get to his family ,even having to cross a waterway of some sort.
