Hello,
I have two lights on one switch. Both lights turn on when breaker is on but are not controlled by the switch.
Seems like I have lots of extra wires. I've tried all combinations.
Light: two black, two white and a red
Switch: one black and one red (and two whites capped off together).
Suggestions?

You didn't say what wires are in the other light.

The other light was simple and just had one black and one white.

Here is a photo of the switch box. The box in the wall only has 1 red and 1 black.
