Good day. My first day of last period was on the 7-8 th of January, 2014. And yesterday (01/30/14) I noticed spotting on my underwear. It's very dark almost black, looks like old blood. I am on a birth control pill but about 4 weeks ago I missed 3 days of it and started all over again and in about two three weeks after I missed three pills I had unprotected sex ( though I still was on a pill but I did heard that if I missed more than 3 days I can't really have unprotected sex for another month after that in order for my pill to start working again). So now I feel some kind of cramping. So I guess my question is Am I pregnant? Thank you so much for help.

There is no way for us to know if you're pregnant. The only real way is to miss a period. Given that you're on the pill, you next period should be at the beginning of February if I am not mistaken. You could be having just random spotting, it has been known to happen.

What you heard about missing a pill is completely true. You need a constant level of the hormone within the pill for it to be effective at the prescribed rate. It is condom month if you miss more than a couple. There is a chance you're pregnant, but an equally, maybe stronger, that you're not. Right now it is a waiting game.
