Is it a desire issue, i.e. you just don't want to have sex, or is it a sensation issue, IE you don't feel anything in your lady bits during sex? You had a partial hysterectomy, how much and what did they remove?

If it is a matter of desire, what could have happened is that they took out one or both of your ovaries. After that your hormone levels will be low, so you will not feel the need to procreate and no need for sexy times with your husband.

To expand on Craven's answer, a lack of sensation requires a follow-up consultation with your surgeon. Either the fibroid or the surgery involved some nerve pathways.

If it's a libido issue, consider communicating with your partner before hormone replacement therapy. There have been reports of nasty side effects from hormone pills.

IF you have lost physical sensation:

Once a surgeon kills nerves, lots of luck every getting any sensation back. Just more and more scar tissue from each operation, more and more problems. It goes with the territory.
