    Depends on whether you are using Copper or Aluminum, the type of insulation and the temperature of the terminals/

    How are you using the wire? MNC, single wire in conduit? Where? Attic, wall, below ground?

    I agree, but if it is a test question t is way to vague.

    I guess they were looking for the 30 Amp restriction in the NEC for general branch circuits but the author of the question asked a poorly formatted question for an examination, at least in my opinion.
