No electricity to part of the house, but no tripped breaker.
When I woke up this morning all the lights and outlets in my master bedroom and master bath were not working. That is except for two outlets on one wall. This happened about 2 weeks ago also. Last time I tripped all the breakers (since they are not marked) and nothing happened. After about 45 minutes I walked back into the room and everything was working. This time I once again tripped all the breakers but nothing has power. Any suggestions before I spend a lot of money I don't have by calling a professional electrician?

Pull one of the non working outlets and see if it was wired using the quick connect holes in the back. If so rewire using the screw terminals. Use of the quick connect holes is known to develop bad connections over a period of time. Your bad connection is probably at the first non-working outlet or the last working outlet. Poor connection can be either the hot or the neutral. Same is true for switches.
If you find that the quick connect method of wiring was used, go through house and rewire all outlets and switches. Eventually the same thing will happen on other circuits.
