Black Hair Dye: Huge mistake! WHAT TO DO?
I was a natural blonde, and about a month ago I decited to dye my hair for the first time. I wanted to go a medium brown. First I bought a temporary hair color at the store, and liked it so I tried to buy the same color permante. I tried the permante color about 3 times, and after a couple days, they would fade away to a strange orange. Finally I bought a different brand but near the same color, I really only wanted to do my roots and front of my hair, since that was fading more than the rest. I did dye the whole top of my head and front that color... and now its BLACK at the top and light brown undernieth. It looks TERRIBLE! It's almost 10 pm where I am right now, and it's been like this all weeked, and I've washed my hair 3 times, and it's only faded a little. Any home tricks I need to know that could make it go away more quick? I don't want to go to school like this tomorrow..

If you want to go from dark to blonde, you will need to lighten the hair and then apply a toner. Anything other than that will result in a red/orange color result in a red/orange shade or an even color. For instance, if you put a box of blonde color over dark hair, it will turn it red or orange. Please consider going to the salon and have them do a corrective color on your hair.
