    Plumbing questions answered free
    I have 1 basthroom with terrible water pressure. Hot, cold, sink, tub and, toilet. Checed all valves all full open. Have separate pannel in garage that has shut off. It is full open Ariaters are clear. What do you recommend ? Jon

    Hi Jonchab

    You didn't say if you are on city/town water or if you are on a well here? Please clarify that, OK...sounds like city/town water? Also, at this point, I would tell you to go out to home depot (or similar store) and purchase a HOSE BIB pressure gauge (see image)...screw it onto an outside faucet (sillcock) and see exactly what your pressure is. Report back with pressure and whether you are on city/town or well water and we'll see what we can think of, OK?

    We run on well water. A couple of weeks ago we had a break in our outside cold water line leading to unused tee. Everything was fine when we dug down and capped the line. Suddenly we have air and dirt coming though pipes as if the electricity was turned off and back on. The strange part now is there is hot water coming through our cold water line. What could our problem be.
