Coleman evcon fail to click for cycle.
This has been an ongoing problem, it runs fine for hours and days . Then it doesn't cycle. House temperatures has never gotten below 60 and it will eventually fix itself and cycle. Local heat and cooling company have been here countless times. Thermostat replaced last winter and Ignition control. Still no fix.

We are gone though the weekdays but I have a acurite indoor comfort monitor that tells me that it failed at some point during the day. Weekends when we're home we notice it getting cold, shut thermostat off, wait 5 min, turn back on and it cycles fine. When it happens the thermostat clicks, but furnace doesn't click. It's like a reset problem.

Update , it's doing it now. Calling for heat, no run.

At the furnace, there should be wires connected to the thermostat wires with wire nuts. Take the nuts off the red & white wires & twist the red & white wire ends together or use a set of jumper wires with alligator clips. If the furnace now fires, the problem is likely either with the stat or the wiring between the stat & furnace. It's only 24 volts & won't bite you.

Coleman & Rheem engineers must have come from the same school. Make things way more complicated than need be & use relays to do it.
