Hi I could really use some input on this.. I recenlty been talking to a guy and he told me he is not afraid of commitment but being in a commitment with the wrong person. Do you think he is afraid of commitment.

No. I think he is afraid of being in a commitment with the wrong person. Do you have any reason to not take his word as his word? Think about it - being committed to Ms. Wrong is not every man's dream. Start slow and see where it goes. The mistakes some people make is committing themself (or is it themselves Wondergurl?) to someone before they actually know that person well.

It means he wants to make sure that any commitments for a relationship is with the right person. He won't jump into one if it's not.

I basically agree with Oliver and tal, but we don't know all the details and personalities involved. If it has been only talk so far, he could mean that he wants to take a test drive first, and maybe he likes to get free test drives but never buys the car.
If he is being honest, he is a wise man. He knows that jumping into a commitment haphazardly can cause serious grief down the road (might as well stick to the car analogy- sorry). Good luck in making the right decision.
