It could be though the discharge is usually white not pink. If there's some minor bleeding then it could be pink. Women are much more susceptible to yeast infections which makes his red and itchy penis a little concerning.

I would get both of you to go to your doctors to get this looked at. Get a full STI test as well. I don't think it is an STI but it is better safe than sorry. What your boyfriend might had is thrush which is just a fancy way of saying yeast infection outside of a woman's vagina.

Go to a doctor. The trip is never wasted.
