we have long known that exporting industries exports pollution and lowers national CO2 emissions but in reality you are now getting it all back but with no control. It is time to put up the barriers, oh it's hard to stop the wind isn't it.? You have sown the wind and reaped a whirlwind. What part of the prevaling weather comes from the west don't you understand? I guess it's that it is the reverse from the east coast where those hurricanes blow in from the Gulf, bet you would like some now to blow all that pollution back to China

Eventually they will come up with the loot for modern technology. They could sell masks to the rest of the world at cut rate discounts.

If we get any more global warming you could theoretically snowmobile to Europe if you could carry enough fuel for the transatlantic ride.

They could start by selling masks to their own people, but the problem is endemic there, they don't care. if they were interested in adopting modern technology they would have done it. Don't think of them as backward in technology, just backward in thinking, they are stuck in some form of socialist timewarp

We know why... near slave wages..... nobody is going to pay to attend college to work for even minimum wage to build those here....and I don't blame them....

I left the electronic Manufacturing field a few decades ago because of that....stagnation of wages due to desperate people working for slaves wages in china.

I just threw Walmart in as a proxy for all those companies that would rather trade in cheap from China than local quality
