    200 mg miconazole during pregnancy?
Okay, I am 32 weeks pregnant. Not too long ago, my OB prescribed generic terazol for a yeast infection. Well, over this weekend my symptoms returnes. I've already waited the weekend and today (MLK day) My doctor wasn't available unless it was an emergency. I need relief now. I went to walmart and could not find terazol or its generic. I found miconazole 200 mg with 2% vulvar cream. Does anyone know if this is safe during pregnancy? Should I use one dose tonight and just call and let my doctor know in the morning? I feel like I cannot go left untreated any longer.

The FDA has not placed miconazole in the pregnancy categories. Which is to say that there hasn't been any reported incidents that have been directly linked to miconazole while used during pregnancy.

That is say that you're course of action, if your yeast infection is that bad, shouldn't affect your unborn child based upon research that I have found by googling miconazole and pregnancy.
