I have a moldy smell coming from my faucet in the bathroom close to my utility room Also, my clothes smell like mold when I wash them no matter how I clean my washing machine and use the tub clean cycle. The machine is the new mega LG and it has smelled from the second month I had it but I noticed the smell from the faucet also. This is the only place that I have a problem. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you picked up some bacteria. I would remove the affected faucets and soak them in bleach. If this doesn't work, I would flush out the water lines as well. Let me know how you make out. Good luck, Tom

It has a lot to do with exactly what you are washing in that exemplary washing machine. Tom said you have picked up some bacteria, could be more then just bacteria. Try rinsing out the filthy stuff before washing it in HOT water and good disinfecting detergent. IMO.
