Dizzy, shortness of breath, and slow heart beat
I am in New Zealand on vacation. We plan to stay for 14 weeks and we are in week 8. When I arrived I seemed to be OK, but since then I have begun to get dizzy after eating and am now having shortness of breath. I am having a slow heart beat-maybe 40 beats a mi or less and it seems to be sporadic-not even. I have experienced slow heart rate before, but it corrected itself after changing blood pressure medication. I did not have trouble at first arrival and have had physical exams regularly. Although I am 74, I have been in good health and have been getting blood pressure checked often. I have had trouble with blood pressure in the past and am on two blood pressure medications. They are Diovan 320 mg Amlodipine Besylate 5mg --both once daily. The second medication I have been taking for only about 9 months. I do not take any other medicine except 1 baby aspirin daily.
