    Scan query?? Helllppppp
Sonographer said less than five weeks but gestational sac and yolk sac seen with a mean sac diameter of 8mm. I had positive tests for two weeks now? I thought I was 5w4d at the scan also by the internet that's what a gestational sac and yolk sac say in the fifth week.

Ultrasounds have a dating curve, especially early on, of a week or two either way. They also date to the beginning of your last period. So having a date that doesn't really match up isn't all that surprising.

    How does this matter?

I feel your concern given your history, but predicting pregnancy is hardly an exact science by any means. Does your doctor know your concern, and history? I am sure he will do his best to get you through this, despite the risks from previous pregnancies. Do your part by not trying to see problems in the very small details and worrying yourself crazy over them so soon.

    Good Luck.

Any calculation of conception date or due date is a guesstimate and could be off by several days to a couple of weeks. Don't stress about it.

We all are to some extent. If I had gone through what you have, I would worry too. Think positive. Don't worry TOO much. :)

Oh good. I hope it takes. :-)

You wouldn't believe people on here who are trying to decide paternity based upon a ultrasound dating. I am happy this isn't the case.

I did see the paternity one. Ive seen ridiculous things like can you get pregnant again if your pregnant? These people need more education. I was just hoping it would be closer to my dates because less to see makes me worry about another miscarriage. Time will tell. I neeeed to relax haha Google is not helping me x

Google rarely does anything to calm the mind. Half of that is the human mind, we're prone to seeing the worst and assume that's what is going on. Most of the time it is the simplest and best that is the case. We're just not wired for that outcome.
