I live in Georgia. Ive been thinking about leaving my boyfriend. He has a drug addiction. We have 2 kids together under the age 4. He always threatens to take them from me. Can he do that? What rights do I have as there mother? He loves them but does nothing for them.

Ok, he does nothing for them, do you really think he will even try or really even wants them, Abusive men always threaten to do this or that, but seldom do. Next in GA, it is almost imposible for the father to get full custody as long as the women does not have anytype of shady past.
Plus his drug use will hurt him, most likely he will be lucky to get visitation that is not supervised. So you leave him, and file for full custody of the children and a fair child support amount.

If he threatens you more, go to the sheriff and get a restraining order against him.
