Hello, I am 26 years old mother of one baby girl whom I gave birth 5 months back on 15 Aug 2013. I am currently breastfeeding my baby and didn't had my periods till 2months after birth end of nov which were fairly uneventful. Then I skiped DEC which was different for me as my cycle was pretty regular before her and had rough time when my periods come on JAN 3. I had a lot of back ache and pretty much rested the initial days and was fine from day 3-7. After I got all done with my 7 day period I am now getting red spotting 4 days after I am done with periods. Yesterday it was just one red spot on my clothes and that was it. Today I again have another. What should I do? Is this period? What is happening?

Yes you need an OB/Gyn to examine you. No way for us to tell.

It's possibly due to the changes with breastfeeding. Sometimes periods stop until weaning, some women find they return fairly soon after birth, others not for over a year. It may vary from spotting to actual periods as well. Are you using any form of birth control?
