So for about 4 days now I've been spotting. I think. I am on birth control. But I've been on it for about 5 or 6 months. Ive been good at taking it at or around the normal time everyday like I'm supposed too and last Friday. January 10th. 2014. I accidentally forgot my pills at home and wasn't able to take my pill till 8 hours later. So I noticed some minor cramping Saturday. At least I thought it was cramping. Then I go to the bathroom on that Sunday and I wipe and see very very light blood. Could that be from me taking the pill too late. Have I messed up the whole pack. I am supposed to be starting my period next week. What's going on..? Worried.

I doubt you meesed up the entire pack... you did take it even though it was late.

Its probibly what's called breakthrough bleeding I thnk most women on the pill have that happen from time to time. If it becomes frequent talk with the person (usually OB-GYN but could be your doctor) and they might adgust the pack doseage. That's what they did when my wife had that happen.

Taking it a few hours late did not mess up the pack, even missing a couple pills does not mess up the pack, it just makes the birth control less effective.
