I have a GE Monogram side by side built-in refrigerator. 2 center drawers and the center door shelf have begun freezing things in the last 2 weeks. Does anyone know if this is something easily remedied or do I need to call for service?

Check your temperature settings first and see if they need to be adjusted. If you have a model number you can look up what the setting should be and get the control location from a online manual, or ask a service rep for guidance.
Here are some manuals that may help: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...ile_Artica.pdf

It could be that you have a bad thermostat or one or the air controls is opened too much. If the rest of the refrigerator is at the right temperature then I would suspect one of the air flow controls which are just dampers that open or close an air passage need to be closed down some. Try closing one down and then wait 24 hours to see how it is working. Get a small thermometer for each place so you can watch the temperature. Close down the door(s) until you get an average 38-40°.
