Is there a possibility I am pregnant?
Hi, I am a 19 year old girl. I had sexual intercourse with a guy on November 2013. It was when I was going to have periods but hadn't started. Accidentally, the condom broke and everything went inside me. I took birth control pill immediately the other day that is 12-16 hrs from the intercourse and followed another pill 12 hrs from then. I had my periods after like a week. It was normal periods. But, however I haven't had periods after that. Now, its January 2014 that means I have missed 2 periods and might miss third one. I have weird stomach pain in my lower stomach almost every morning. Is there a possibility I could be pregnant?

Have you taken a test? I don't think its likely but it would give a better answer than just guessing.

You take it right after you wake up... the first time you pee in the morning. No other time.

And that guy needs to learn how to handle condoms... they don't break easily it treated correctly. They should NEVER be kept in a pocket or wallet. I'm 53...I've never managed to break one by accident.

ANY time there is penile insertion there is the possibility of pregnancy. No form of birth control is 100% effective. So yes you could be pregnant. Since it is more than 2 weeks since you missed a period you can try taking a HPT.

I don't know what birth control pills you took after the intercourse, but if it wasn't a morning after type pill it would have been ineffectual at preventing pregnancy.

What about the weird stomach aches(the stomach area where it hurts when I am about to have periods) I have every morning? Could it be related or could it just bethe side effect of the pill?

Impossible to tell. Generally the first symptom of pregnancy is a missed period. The fetus is usually not developed enough in the first month or two to cause physical symptoms.

So, that means the cramps are for my periods to happen. Thank you so much Scott and smoothy! It really helped. Also, any idea how I could have my periods and make it regular?

Period timing is hard to control because they are dependent on your hormonal cycle. If they don't cycle properly or regularly then you'll have irregular periods. Hormonal birthcontrol pills have been used to regulate cycles and help them become more regular. It also has the added benefit of being birth control.
