Spin cycle will not come after replacing timer and knob
I replaced the knob on the timer and the timer. Now the washer works, but the spin cycle will not come on

You should have used a meter and tested other parts besides the timer. Here are some manuals: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...c%20washer.pdf

You have solenoids and other parts that can keep it from going into the spin cycle. The book "Understanding Automatic Washers" explains what you need to do. Get a good multimeter and NEVER change a part without testing it first. That's the worst way to diagnose an appliance. Most appliances can be easily checked with a meter and this saves you money and time.
