Need birth mothers maiden name for court.
If you have her married name then you may be able to look up the marriage certificate through the online library archives if your state has one, or the courthouse she was married in.
I personally know of no reason you need her maiden name, please be more explaining why you need the maiden name, what type of court action.
The simple fact is, it may not be available, if you know her married name and her husband name ( if married) then you can look up marriage records.
But since you are adopted, I can think of no legal purpose.
Please give us more information. I can think of no reason that you would need your BIRTHMOTHER'S maiden name rather than your LEGAL mother's maiden name.
If you have a copy of your adoption papers your birth mother's name at the time of your adoption will be on them.
Your adoptive parents are your legal parents for all legal purposes.
