Want LED above 35 inches. Which company should I prefer? Can I go for 3D TV available in this range??

Samsung clearly has the best picture. And yes, in that budget you should be able to high end 3D in the 50+ size.

I bought a Samsung TOP of the line 60", 3-D, LED, 270 something or other refresh rate, for $2,000 at Best Buy, and the price has dropped substantially since then.

For your money you can buy a ROOM sized one.
