My ex girlfriend was in South Carolina last week for New Years Eve. She was drinking and barely drinks much, she said, and got really sick threw up and was really sick the whole next day. Saturday when she got home she and I noticed increase in the amount that she was eating, also that she had gained some weight. So this Thursday we found out that she was pregnant. However she thinks that she got pregnant New Years Eve by a guy down there. She said that she had her period in December, at least she think she did, but she said it was not a normal one. She had that on or around the 13th to the 16th of December, however we had sex on December 2nd. Is it more likely that she conceived on the 2nd of December or New Years Eve?

It's hard to believe that just three days later she could be experiencing hunger and glow and weight gain. I think she was pregnant before New Years. Just looking for an opinion.

Likely she wouldn't be showing anything in either of the two situations you suggested as there isn't enough time passed.

How do you know she is pregnant?

If there is any question as to who the father is, and it certainly sounds like there is, you may want a DNA test done when the baby is born...I mean, I know I wouldn't so freely want to accept her word for it and wind up paying child support for someone else's kid.

She took two pregnancy tests. She isn't showing much but she is always skinny and now she is bigger. She has has been eating non stop since the 4th or 5th and her mom called her out on her glow. Plus frequent urinating. Her and o had sex while she was ovulating dec 2nd. I still feoel she was pregnant before she went to South Carolina for new years eve

I wouldn't believe anything an ex said, let alone have sex with her. She is an ex for a reason, and who knows what she is about now. Don't make any promises you can't keep, or assume she is truthful, or accurate.

I'd still do that test when the baby is born...just sayin'

If your dates are correct its yours and not the new years guys... but I wouldn't mess with a girl who's having unprotected sex with two people close enough in time to not know the father... but get a paternity test after birth because you're only going off her word and she might not be 100% truthful of who and when she was with.. but good luck

It would be in your best interests to have a DNA test done after the baby is born.

Maybe some background into the relationship could help like how long where you a couple why you broke up and how long had you been broken up could shed better light on this situation.

Why are you banging an ex and all of a sudden she is pregnant? No birth control or what? Who knows what she means about NORMAL period. To many unknown factors here my man. Too much uncertainty. Maybe the New Year guy hit it before New Year. Or someone else did and that's a strong possibility because she may not be forthcoming with all the facts you need.

Yeah the symptoms seem to be happrning to soon I think she got pregnant at an earlier date

I am taking her to get an ultra sound to see cause it will depend how far along she is to who is the father

It is impossible to tell you how far along she is by symptoms alone. To determine gestation a doctor would go by her LMP as well as an ultrasound.

Well we had sex on dec 2nd and she thought she had her period on dec 15th but she told me it wasnr normal but spotty so her last steady stream was from nov 11 to 16th.


Also on new years eve she had some drinks and got sick and threw up and was sick the whole next day. She took 2 pregnancy tests this past thurs and they both came up positive

I thought she was your EX girlfriend. If not, she should be.

A doctor can answer all your questions so why hasn't she gone to one. Why do you keep starting new questions about the same thing but give us no feedback or input, like some background as to the actual relationship.

Then we wouldn't have to suspect this whole thing was a big ploy to get you back, or play with your mind about a drunken sex romp on the holiday. Who are you trying to convince this is your kid even if she is pregnant? She can tell you anything she wants.

We were together for 6 months we broke up around christmas and that's why she went to South Carolina to see a guy for new years. So the only other time she has had sex with anyone other then me would have been that night.

You will have to wait until the DNA test is done. Sorry, but there is no other way to know beyond a shadow of a doubt.

She would not be showing pregnant from sex that was 12 days ago. Not on a home pregnancy test anyway. So no it would not be the guy from news year eve.

Also remember that any and all conception dates will be give or take a week. ( even two week )
