Well pump pressure at 100 psi
Hello. We had our well freeze during this cold weather. We did have to replace the filter as it froze and busted and since then the gauge has read 100 psi. We replaced a couple of the pipes also and one still has a small leak that we have to replace again. The new filter is actually bigger than the one we had. Is there even supposed to be a filter down there? It was like that when we bought the house. We have had a space heater in the well house to keep from freezing again. The water is working as normal in the house. Any advice would be more than appreciated. Thanks.

Purchase a pressure gauge (about $10) and check what pressure really is. Possible that pressure gauge on tank was damaged.
