6 days missed period, negative results
My period was supposed to be on jan 3, but now am 6 days delayed. Been on the pill for 4 years and never experienced missed periods until now. I missed taking 2 yellow tablets in a row, but then I followed the instructions on the 2 missed pills and started with a new pack immediately after finishing the yellow pills (discarding the brown tablets). I also had taken senna tea as a laxative as I am having problems on my bowel movement. Can this affect the efficacy of my birth control pills?I tested last jan 6 and 7, both yielded negative results... what happened? Am a pregnant? Can you please advise me on my situation? Thanks in advance///

It is far to early to test, that is part of the issue, you need to be at least 14 days late just to start testing, and then every week after if still showing negative.

If miss a second period, time to see the doctor.

But the pill is not 100 percent effective and many women get pregnant while on it.
