I have had my period twice this month. The first period I had just started some birth control pills given to me by a friend and I usually get my period for the full 7 day and it was only 5 day. I thought it had been from taking the pills. I missed taking my pills for two days Mon. and Tues.. Today is Wed. and had started bleeding again but this time it is a dark brown and clots are coming out. Please help. I'm scared?

Why the holy hand grenade are you taking birthcontrol pills that weren't prescribed to you?! That can be VERY dangerous. Stop taking them. Throw them away. Go to a doctor as soon as possible. Talk to the doctor about birthcontrol, what you did with the pills, and the clots.

What is probably happening is that your body is dealing with the introduction of the new hormones. The brown blood is old and probably the remnants from your interrupted period. How big are the clots? Have you been having unprotected sex.

Never take prescription medication that wasn't prescribed to you. Never.
