A friend just stopped her period few days ago but when she went to the restroom she said there was stuff that looked like snot except it was clear with a very light tint of red. What could this be?

Thanks for the vivid description. What did she expect from taking a pill or whatever it was 'to stop her period' without finding out what the outcome would be? If it did not have an odor, then tell her not to worry about it.

Tickle, what did I miss? I don't see where the OP said the friend took a pill to stop her period, just that her period stopped, as in it was over, had run its course.

To the OP, discharge can happen for many reasons. If your friend is concerned about this, she should consult a doctor. There's very little we can do online.

Perhaps the OP edited or changed their post? I do not see the issue about a Pill either. Women have discharges for many reasons, if it is not continue and does not happen again, most likely nothing to worry about.

I read it as 'stopped her period' as in didn't want it that month for whatever reason.

You two could be right; I guess my mind was on a different wave length at the time, or I have been reading too many paranormal posts!
