Is the Charity group children's international a fake group?

And which one, there are many with various wordings of that name. And there are fraud people who use names of real groups.

Anytime someone asks for a charity donation, I look them up on 'Charity Navigator' - it gives ratings of the foundation, and a breakdown of how the donation is used. I also verify the address - if it doesn't match with what is on here, something may be up. I typed in Children International, it pulled up a foundation out of Missouri. Are you just wanting info on it, or are you asking, regardless of what is stated on the link below, if it is an elaborate scam? Also - I believe foundations have to be registered with the state they want to ask for donations in, so you can always look them up on your state website (I live in Washington, this is another site I use for charity look-ups.. )
