Why does chrome show prices of things when I am surfing in euro when I have everything set to English on my settings, it is very annoying.
Is there a fix for this.

England (English) is where euros are used, correct? You need to set to dollars as unit for currency. I think you are confusing language setting with currency setting.

Is this for any site in particular ?

England is the European hold out and as an Island Nation we have kept our national currency of the Great British Pound ..

The public vote is September 2014 and they have already been told they cannot keep the pound, so interesting times ahead ;)
