    Is it normal for heat pump to run continuiously
    My heat pump is running continuiously and aux heat kicks on and off is this normal?

    In this current weather a heat pump will be running continuously if the temp is below 15-20 degrees. There is not much heat to extract at very low temps. Since the aux.heat costs so much, consider extra clothing and blankets. I am in Atlanta and it is 10 degrees. I do have central gas heat.
