What will you lose if you fail this test? Was the schnapps it worth the stress and uncertainty?

You're probably going to be okay. Most the tests are rated to detect alcohol arounds 60-80 hours after consumption, but you could argue a number of ways why that number could be higher or lower. Regardless, you have 60+hrs. You will probably be reading this after you take your test.

    Good luck.

Hell no its not worth it. Thanks for answering my question.

Does water cause EtG levels to go down?

No. You risk a fail from dilution.

Too much water causes dilution which would be an automatic fail.

Just curious how long does just one shot of alcohol take to leave the body for a negative EtG test?

Say a shot in Saturday and a EtG test Wednesday drinking water in between will it help the EtG level to go down?

The tests have a sensitivity of 60-80 hours. Will the ETG generated from a shot stay for that long? Doubtful. This is starting to sound like you're gaming the system.

If you're required to take ETG tests than you're more than likely not supposed to be drinking. So if you're not supposed to be drinking, why are you drinking? What do you stand to lose if you fail on of these tests? Maybe you should be checking yourself into a AA meeting if drinking is this much of an issue.
