I am writing this for my mom. She went to the emergency room a couple of days with a backache. The doctor on call is a lung doctor and he order a chest x-ray. He said that it looked like blood vessels wrapped around her left lung. She had lung cancer in her right lung about 3 years ago. She goes see this doctor on the 7th. She and us are really worried. So anyway what might this indicate? Any help would be appreciative.

There are no doctors on this site. She will have to keep her appointment on the 7th to find out what this is.

I truly wish we could diagnose online, but it's simply not possible, especially not when it comes to cancer. There's really no way to tell you what's going on. She'll have to see her doctor, and discuss this with him/her.
