    AFCI Breakers
Our volunteer group just finished the elctrical tri m out on a new Habitat home. We've done well over a 100 homes and up until noew we've never had this kind of problem. Of the 12 AFCI protected circuits in the home, we can not get 11 of them to set. They trip as we turn them on. We've had homes with one maybe two circuits that trip out when we turn them on but never 11 . I'm wondering if it's possibl;y something upstream from the individual circuits?
After 40 plius years in the trade ; this one has me ready to walk away.

Have you tried the one breaker that did not trip in place of one of the breakers that did trip? Maybe a bad batch of breakers?

Try this... disconnect the branch circuit from the AFCI and see of it resets. If so, it's not the breaker. You will need to trace each individual circuit to find the issue. I'll bet someone made the same mistake eleven times...
