Should a girl give a gift first to her boyfriend?
I recently got boyfriend. I want to make him serious about me. I want to involve him. What should I do? Should I give him gift first or no?Should I ask him for dinner from me?

    How old are you both?

But the short answer is no gift will make anyone more serious about you. It either happens because everythign is right...or it doesn't. If it doesn't you find someone else that it does happen. You might have to find many different people and it might take many years before you find that one right person.

When you finally do...you will see why you didn't want to force something who wasn't the right person. We have a saying that explains it all....you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your Prince. Which means you have to date a number of people before you really understand what a good relationship is...and when you find the right person. Someone might seem to be good at first...but unless you have been with someone better...you really don't know how good it can be. And trust me....what seems like good with the first one....can and usually will actually be really bad when you find there are so much better out there.

My first few girlfriends for example seemed really great at the time...but looking back...I was so very glad I kept looking for better....because with the benifit of experience....they really weren't very good at all. THey only seemed like it at the time because I had little else to compare with.

But thats not saying they were really bad...they just were not a really good match with me......and thats true with everyone.....nobody is the right match with just anyone...but everyone does have that perfect match out there is they just keep looking. And that perfect match doesn't require you or them changing anything about themselves....or more like pretending to change. Because people never change, they always go back to the way they are naturally.

OK... the ages help. Inviting to dinner is a nice gesture. Gives you a chance to talk more...

Date, have fun while you get to know each other, and see if all this is really worth it. How long have you known him? How long have you been dating? How long have you been bf/gf?

If he is dating you then there is interest. Have fun and pay attention. As more will be revealed as you date. Relax and have fun and be yourself. So to will things about you be revealed to him. 2 months, and 3/4 dates are way to soon to get carried away by your feelings, or have unreasonable expectations. You never know what you will learn, or what you will feel like in 6 months of dating, so relax and go with the flow.

They were friends before you knew each other so why stop him? Why should you care and be jealous, or possessive? Usually couples just take it slow and get to know each other before all that serious stuff about marriage is even talked about. What's the bf/gf agreement between you?

Maybe down the road you will meet them, but for now after 4 dates, it's a bit soon to be jealous or possessive, or to even give your complete heart to a stranger. That's what I meant by not getting carried away and see how things go. Things will develop naturally, and more will be revealed about him.

As the spirit moves you. Nothing elaborate or extravagant, just a token of your feelings.
