If someone was to keep drinking how long would alcoholic liver disease take to progress to hepatitis? I was diagnosed a week ago with this and I have quit drinking heavily now (whiskey throughout the day roughly 2 pints) about 2 days ago. I'm going to continue to abstain from alcohol but I'm looking for some advice. I'm a 29 year old male 200 pounds. If anyone can help please let me know.
