I got married on the 15th of September 2013. Had sex on the 16th morning. I had my mensus on the 23rd as that was my date. It ended on the 28th. Normallmy mensus lasts 3-4 days. I had sex on the 30th again. I did not get my mensus for October. I did a test on the 28th and it said +ve. I am happy about it.
My question is how long does it take to conceive. How man weeks pregnant am I??

Calculating conception is an inexact science. You don't need to know when you conceived to go for a checkup. You should go immediately. You tell your doctor when your last period was. They will do a sonogram and estimate how far along you are from that info.

The doctor would calculate your pregnancy according to the first day of your last period. That means, since your period was September 23, you are approximately 12 weeks and 5 days. I calculated this using the same gestational wheel that your doctor uses. Your due date would be approximately June 30 or July 1.

Since you are heading into your second trimester it is imperative you seek medical attention as soon as possible.
