Yes, you may well have trace amounts of Alcohol in your system, and if they detect it, you go to jail. Risking jail over a 12 pack of beer seems dumb to me; then again, I rather like freedom. If a judge tells me conditions of probation, you bet your butt I'd follow them, rather than be paranoid.

If you can't not drink, then you need to deal with that issue, before the judge deals with it for you. I'd recommend AA, but whatever works for you.
