I replaced the radiator the temp gauge goes up and down when driving it does not go all the way up it stops in the middle

If it wasn't doing this before you replaced the radiator, I would say you have air in the system.

Read your Owner's Manual on how to drain and refill your cooling system. This will help prevent air from forming in the system, which you need to purge.
