    I have question OK my doctor inserted the nuvaring in 12/13 my period is suppose to come 12/17 or 12/18 and it haven't come yet could this be because of the birth control or could I be pregnant and not know it

    The nuvaring will regulate your period such that your on a monthly cycle. Why he inserted it before your period is a little odd, but it is probably working your system to it's schedule. Usually they ask if you're pregnant or could have come pregnant before hand.

    As well if you were having unprotected sex, or even protected sex, there is a chance of becoming pregnant. There are people here who've used three forms of birthcontrol correctly and still gotten pregnant.

    What you're going to need to do is wait until your period comes. If it doesn't come in two weeks take a home pregnancy test. That is the best we can do. Sorry.
