Wait until two weeks after your period is/was due, then test with first urine of the morning. A missed period is the first sign you might be pregnant.

Sperm stays alive for 3-5 days in a woman's body. Ovulation typically occurs 12-14 days after a period. However, that is textbook and very few women follow that pattern.

Any time you have sex you risk pregnancy. The first symptom of pregnancy is a missed period. You have to wait two weeks after that missed period for the HCG hormone to build up in your system so that it is a level high enough to register on a test. By using first morning urine, you are using undiluted urine so there is a higher concentration of the hormone if you are pregnant.

Stressing is NOT a good thing.

It can take five or six days for the sperm to reach the egg that was released. There are millions of sperm.
