    Can being great grandparents lead to citizenship?
    Can being great grandparents lead to citizenship in Germany? Would any on also then know the answer in Ireland? Any help would be cool. Thanks.

    Nope... both my grandmothers immigrated to the US from Germany and that doesn't make me eligible for German Citizenship if I wanted... Great grandparents would be even further removed.

    Same applies In Ireland....my Grandfather came here from Ireland as an adult....I'm not eligible there either.

    Thanks I figured it was a long shot but I thought I would try. I want to move to Iceland, and you can live there if you are an EEA citizen with out issue. Any how Thanks!
