How do I hook up my magnavox DVR, dish network and vizio TV to be able to record? I have not tried to hook DVR to it yet. TV and dish are working. The instruction manual that came with the DVR is 126 pages.

You have to hook the content source (the Dish box) as input into the DVR. You can then hook the DVR into the TV. Depending on the inputs you have into the TV, you could hook the Dish box directly to the TV as an additional input.

How you hook this all up depends on what outputs the Dish box has and what inputs the DVR and TV has, Also what output the DVR has. You have to match the outputs with the inputs.
